Emmerdale's Lydia confides in Kim over her ordeal with Craig

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale's Lydia Dingle turns to her friend Kim Tate for support next week as she continues to struggle after Craig Reed's attack.

Lydia reaches breaking point as Craig continues his attempts to make her life a misery by manipulating her stepson Samson.

Next week, Samson reconnects with Craig at his office and seeks further answers over why his work experience was cancelled.

Craig seizes this opportunity to manipulate the situation as he spins a false version of events, making Samson believe that something romantic happened between him and Lydia.

The villain then invites Samson back to the office to continue his work experience, knowing that this will upset Lydia.

Later, Samson speaks to his girlfriend Cathy Hope on the phone, loudly making remarks about the allegations that Lydia may have cheated on Sam.

Mandy overhears this and urges Samson to tell her what's going on between Lydia and Craig. When Samson mentions a possible affair, Mandy becomes determined to find out the truth.

The following day, Lydia is devastated as Mandy asks her whether she has been cheating on Sam. Lydia denies it and rushes out, leaving Mandy unconvinced.

Outside in the village, Kim is worried when she sees Lydia sobbing. Unwilling to let Craig keep lying about her, Lydia tells Kim that Craig raped her.

Kim is supportive, but she urges Lydia to confide in Sam too so that he can help her. Will Lydia agree with this advice?
