Emmerdale's Tracy to be drawn into Caleb drama as he makes an offer

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale's Tracy Metcalfe faces a big decision this month as controversial Caleb Miligan offers to help her.

Tracy's ambitions for a new career see her cross paths with Caleb, who has caused chaos for the Dingle family in recent months.

In upcoming scenes, Tracy decides that she wants to open up her own nursery following her return to the village.

She's pleased when Bernice Blackstock offers her some part-time work at the B&B, hoping that this will help her to save some of the start-up costs required for the business.

However, Caleb soon sticks his oar in to help Tracy get her plans off the ground much more quickly.

TV Times has reported that Caleb offers Tracy a loan, but it's unclear whether she'll be willing to accept it while the Dingles are all holding grudges against him. Will she risk potential disapproval from Cain – and how will Nate react?

Amy Walsh, who plays Tracy, recently told Digital Spy and other press: "Tracy is always looking for the next career move. She thinks it's a good idea to open up a nursery in the village, so I'm going to be looking after more kids! It'll be fun.

"Tracy moved away to Nottingham for work. She got a passion for being successful and this is just another venture she's taking herself on. Whether it works or not is another matter, but she's going to put her heart and soul into it.

"Tracy is just so focused on creating a future for her daughter, Frankie, that she didn't have herself. I think that's really nice to see – strong women."

Meanwhile, Emmerdale's executive producer Jane Hudson recently confirmed that Caleb will also try to make amends with Cain by offering help to Moira.

Hudson told Inside Soap: "The thing Caleb has to do is make amends with Cain – because if he's not got Cain's backing, it doesn't matter who else supports him, he's never going to be welcome.

"Caleb has two choices; he can either up sticks and run, or he can stay and fight for the family he's always wanted, proving to them that his plan was about Kim [Tate] and what he saw as his inheritance.

"He's always said that he was never going to let Cain and Moira go to ruin, so if Caleb wants to get back with the family, his 'in' is to help Moira get the farm back.

"We'll have to see if he steps up to the plate."

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
