End-to-end e-commerce solutions startup iCommerce Asia grabs US$1.4M pre-Series A

E-commerce supply chain and logistics startup iCommerce Asia has raised S$2 million (US$1.4 million) in a pre-Series A round led by investors including Cooper Mcguire and Harry Markl, ex-CFO and ex-Co-CEO respectively of Zalora Group, Aaron Tan, CEO and Founder of Carro.sg, Ismail Shariff, Ex-Regional VP of Salesforce and Janifer Yeo-Tan, CEO of the JYSK Group of Companies.

Founded in April 2016, iCommerce Asia is led by Founder and Managing Director Ali Ridha Madihid, who previously managed supply chain operations in SATS Cargo and ZALORA.

At iCommerce Asia, he aims to provide businesses with a suite of end-to-end e-commerce solutions including logistics, warehouse management, eValue Added Services (eVAS) that include eCommerce store creation and digital content production.

Within eight months, the Singapore-based startup has onboarded clients including Qoo10, Cotton On Group, Heatwave Shoes, IT retailer Challenger’s Hachi.Tech, Fashion Valet and Charles & Keith.’

“We are focused on helping our clients achieve greater growth by providing them the support they require in creating a sustainable business online. We strongly believe in creating good relationships with our clients,” said Ali, in an official statement.

iCommerce Asia has a strong focus in Indonesia, where it aims to bolster cross-border B2c shipping from Indonesia into other regional markets and vice versa. It is assisting Singaporean e-commerce sites including Anothersole.com, Haslinda Ali Fit Fab, Propupstore, Vermillion as well as Birue by Nad into Indonesia by connecting them to major marketplaces such as Matahari Mall.

Regionally, iCommerce Asia faces competition from other end-to-end e-commerce solutions providers such as Indonesia-based 8commerce and Thailand-based aCommerce,
