The England football team will kick off their World Cup campaign in Qatar this week and hope to win a major trophy for the first time in more than 50 years.

The Three Lions suffered heartbreak last summer when they lost out to Italy on penalties in the final of the delayed European Championships.

Gareth Southgate's men will be focused on taking a final step and winning the top prize for the first time since England captured it at Wembley in 1966.

The team has been drawn in Group B alongside Iran, the United States and Wales.
