Erin Foster Welcomes First Baby, a Girl, with Husband Simon Tikhman: 'The Best Ending'

Erin Foster is a mom!
The actress, 41, welcomed her first baby with husband Simon Tikhman, sharing the news on her Instagram on Sunday, May 19.
Alongside a series of photos from her home birth, she described the baby's delivery as "truly the most insane experience of my life, with the best ending," before revealing the newborn's unique name.
"Noa Mimi Tikhman being nothing like her mother who is always late, arrived two weeks early. Being totally unbiased I would say she’s perfect and super advanced already, and might be the first person I’ve met who prefers me to Simon," she wrote in the caption of the post.
"Gave birth to her au naturale in our bed like a beast, but also would have taken heroine in the moment if someone offered. Simon would like everyone to know he’s a warrior too ❤️," she added, jokingly referring to photos within the carousel showing her husband pouring a glass of wine during the labor proceedings.

Foster and Tikhman tied the knot in December 2019 in a New Year’s Eve ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee. She first announced that she was expecting on Thanksgiving, sharing the news on her Instagram.

"It feels like we need something positive right now, so I’d like to offer something. I’m pregnant!" she captioned her post.
In the photo, Foster stood with her hands on her back, smiling while she showed off her bump in the sunlight. Tikhman sat on the ground, looking up at his wife while she faced the camera.
Foster, who is the daughter of David Foster and Rebecca Dyer, commented on pregnancy speculation in July on an Instagram Story, striking a pose while she snapped an airplane selfie.
"Can you imagine how insane I'm going to be as a MOTHER!?" Foster captioned the initial shot, where she added a crown emoji over her head.
