Some EU leaders to meet on migration on Sunday

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Several European Union leaders, including those of France and Austria, will meet on Sunday to discuss how to prevent people from moving around the bloc after they have claimed asylum in one of the Mediterranean states of arrival.

The EU's executive European Commission on Wednesday announced the weekend meeting in Brussels, a way to address the latest concerns over migration raised by Chancellor Angela Merkel's coalition partner.

The head of the Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker will host the talks to "work with a group of Heads of State or Government of Member States interested in funding European solutions" for a June 28-29 summit of all EU leaders that is all heading for a clash over migration.

Sources said the leaders of Germany, Greece, Bulgaria and Italy would also take part.
