Eva Mendes is still reflecting on her sweet time at Milan Fashion Week.

The actress and mom of two, 50, shared a throwback video of her strutting her stuff in a sheer polka-dot dress and sky-high heels while in Italy for the Dolce & Gabbana festivities last month.

The trip marked Mendes' first Fashion Week since welcoming her and Ryan Gosling's daughters, Esmeralda Amada, 9, and Amada Lee, 7.

While reflecting on her experience on Thursday, Mendes thanked the Barbie star, 43, for making her feel at ease while she was halfway across the world.

“La Dolce Evita made possible by …,” she wrote in her caption, tagging the pros on her glam squad and then giving Gosling a shoutout. “And by my man for holding down the fort at home so I could live the Dolce Evita for a couple days."

Mendes’ time abroad included plenty of chic outfit changes — but not all was glam.

Keeping it real as always, the lifestyle businesswoman shared a funny video to Instagram showing how her trip really went down. The clip shows her unzipping her latex knee-high boots, stripping off her leopard-print gloves and attempting to snack on a banana, only for her veil to get in the way.

Mendes and Gosling make a great team and always lean on each other for support.

On Sunday, Mendes showed all the love to Gosling, who performed Barbie‘s “I’m Just Ken” at the 2024 Oscars. The rendition from the Best Supporting Actor nominee was really a full-on production as it involved over 60 dancers participating in the largest Oscars performance to date.

Although Mendes and her little ones weren't at the Academy Awards, they provided Gosling with lots of show business pointers beforehand.

"It was so fun because they came to the dress rehearsal the day before and so they were in the front row,” the actor told PEOPLE at the Fall Guy premiere at SXSW.

"They gave me some tips and some notes, all great notes," he added. "They are such a huge part of this for me...it was my girl's interest in Barbie and disinterest in Ken that got me into this in the first place. It was beautiful to have them there at the end."
