When evacuation flights from Donetsk Oblast to Rivne Oblast were planned in June

Ukrainians evacuating to Rivne Oblast will need to get on an evacuation train planned for June 3, 11, 19, and 27.

Rivne Oblast has about 270 free places for evacuees in places of temporary residence, the Rivne Oblast Military Administration (Rivne OVA) said.

Should those number be insufficient, the register of private housing will be used. Also, 2 premises for accommodation of family-type children's homes have been arranged in Rivne Oblast.

Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk appealed to UNICEF representatives to support the children who will be evacuated, as well as to establish communication with Rivne OVA for this purpose.

"It is important that where the evacuated population is planned to be accommodated, there should be proper social infrastructure," she said.

"People should understand that in the new place they will be provided with all the necessary help and support."

An evacuation train from Donetsk Oblast relocated Ukrainians to Volyn Oblast in early May 2024.
