Former 'EastEnders' actress Shana Swash has given birth to her first child.

The 33-year-old actress - who is the younger sister of fellow former 'EastEnders' actor Joe Swash, 41 - took to Instagram to reveal she has welcomed a baby girl, Kitty, into the world.

Shana - who played Demi Miller in the BBC One soap from September 2004 to July 2006 - shared a series of snaps of her and her fiancé Nick Jones snuggling up to their little one, after she was born on December 18th.

She added the caption: "Kitty Frances Swash Jones [heart emoji] 18.12.2023 (sic)"

Shana took to Instagram in June to reveal she and Neil were expecting a baby together.

The star shared a picture of the couple holding up her baby scan, and wrote: "BABY JONES 5TH DECEMBER 2023 (sic)"

In August 2021, Shana revealed she and Nick were engaged.

She posted a picture from Playa de Mojácar, Spain, of her hand with an engagement ring on, and Nick could be seen celebrating in the sea in the background of the snap.

After starring as Demi in 'EastEnders', Shana has gone on to appear in daytime soap 'Doctors', as well as BBC sitcom 'After You've Gone', and an episode of Scottish soap 'River City'.

Shana starred in drama film 'Love Without Walls' earlier this year, alongside 'Benidorm' actress Sheila Reid, 'Adulthood' star Adam Deacon and 'Only Fools and Horses' legend Paul Barber.

What's more, Shana now co-owns London-based coffee shop Swash and Jones Coffee Co with her significant other Nick.
