Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks star Jemma Donovan has promised a huge turning point in Rayne Royce's story.

Viewers seen a nastier edge to newcomer Rayne in recent weeks, as she has begun behaving insensitively in the wake of Juliet's death.

Rayne then went on to tell a terrible health lie to her boyfriend Romeo in a bid to stop him from going to Juliet's funeral. Upcoming scenes will also see her make a shocking accusation about Romeo's best friend Prince.

During an exclusive Inside Soap Awards photoshoot, Jemma – who plays Rayne – told Digital Spy that the story is only just getting started.

When asked what is coming up for Rayne over the next few months, Jemma teased: "Get ready for it! I feel her true colours are showing.

"It's going to be a big one. It's going to be very interesting, very dramatic. There's a lot to come, don't worry. There is a lot of drama, I feel.

"You will finally see a different side to her which I think has been brewing for a while."

Jemma is up for the Best Newcomer prize at the Inside Soap Awards and you can watch our full behind-the-scenes video from the photoshoot at the top of the page.
