At this point, you'd have to be living under a rock (one without a wireless connection) to not know that Christina Hall and Tarek El Moussa are gearing up for their on-screen reunion. For their newest HGTV show, The Flip Off, the exes and former Flip or Flop stars are going head-to-head in a renovation challenge for the ages. (Of course, they're not competing alone: Both Christina and Tarek will be joined by their respective spouses.)

The series isn't set to premiere until next year, but Christina, Tarek, and his wife Heather Rae El Moussa are having a lot of fun teasing the new show. However, things got pretty heated in their latest video.

The Instagram reel starts innocently enough: Tarek and Heather walk up to a counter at a coffee shop, and the Selling Sunset star asks her husband to order her a chai latte (with almond milk!) before she walks out of the frame.

Next, Tarek walking with two to-go cups in his hands—one is specifically labeled "Heather"—and we him laser in on a woman whose back his facing him. She has blonde hair and a similar outfit, so she must be Heather, right? The mysterious woman turns around to reveal that she's actually—gasp!—his ex-wife Christina!

Suddenly, Heather sees Tarek sitting with Christina and marches into a frame. "Excuse me?" Heather asked before "slapping" her husband. (Don't worry, the "slap" was coupled with an over-the-top sound effect, so it's safe to say she didn't actually hit her hubby!) "Well, I guess it is confusing," Tarek quips at the end of the video.

Though this isn't the first time Christina and Heather have poked fun at the fact that they have many similarities—looks aside, they're both home experts who married Tarek—this video left fans divided. On the one hand, some fans thought the reel is some good old-fashioned fun. "I love how you guys are running with this idea," one person wrote. "Great to see everyone getting along." You guys are killing it with the marketing in this show that’s coming," a second commented. "Can't wait!"

That said, not everyone was on-board with this video. Truthfully, a lot of fans admitted this slap happy short gave them the ick. "I’m all for getting along but this is a bit weird," someone commented. "This is getting stupid," another person remarked. A third kept it simple by writing, "Cringey."

Love it or hate it, you have to admit that these videos are drumming up plenty of interest around The Flip Off. 2025 can't come soon enough...
