For the summertime event, the first lady elevated power suiting with a colorful spin. Biden opted for a monochrome look with a three-piece suit set in a shade of mint green. The first lady wore a pair of tailored trousers, a blouse and a single-breasted blazer in the same coordinated summertime shade.

The blazer also featured button embellishments as an additional element to the blazer. Biden added pops of warm hues with gold jewelry and the addition of a large brooch on one lapel in the shape of a dove. Her blond hair was styled with volume and she opted for her usual natural, clean makeup look.

Biden’s daughter Ashley, who she shares with husband President Joe Biden, wholly embraced the colors associated with Pride Month. Ashley wore the Malibu Midi Dress courtesy of Revolve Clothing. The ombre design featured shades of blue, green, yellow, orange and pink transitioning into one another.

To capture the color motif, the strapless dress featured tonal sequin embellishments throughout. Ashley paired her look with bangled bracelets and statement earrings. During the event, Ashley shared remarks with attendees, reflecting on her childhood, her parents and the environment she grew up in that left an impact on her well into adulthood.

“I am so grateful to be with all of you tonight to celebrate Pride. I grew up with two loving parents who told me that I could be anything and that they would love me,” Ashley said. “And I remember feeling so safe and secure in their unconditional love. I’m a social worker now,” Ashley said, adding, “and I see every day how important it is for children to feel loved, accepted and supported. It’s everything.”
