First look at Drag Race Brasil as cast is announced
It's official: RuPaul's Drag Race is coming to Brazil!
The cast of queens for the brand new series has been announced, and it's full of big names from the Brazilian drag scene.
Drag Race Brasil, which premieres on August 30 on WOW Presents Plus in the UK and globally, will be hosted by Queen of the Universe winner Grag Queen, while fashion icon Dudu Bertholini and comedian Bruna Braga will join her on the judging panel.
The 12 fierce Brazilian queens vying for the title of Brazil's first Drag Superstar are revealed below:
Aquarela
Aquarela comes from the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, and she aspires to "deliver versatility in her montages and performances". Aquarela is known as a "gourmet clown" because of her exaggerated appearance, which is accentuated by her gorgeous makeup and unpredictable demeanour.
Betina Polaroid
Betina Polaroid, a photographer, has stepped out from behind the lens to perform as a drag queen, and you can often see her decked out in vintage and rockstar print.
Dallas de Vil
Dallas is a multi-talented pop DJ and progressive activist, who believes that entertainment can be used to spark a revolution.
