First look: Jewel Changi Airport's IMAX Cinema, light show at Rain Vortex and more

There are lots to see, do and eat at Changi Airport’s newest indoor sanctuary, with more than 280 shops and F&B outlets spread over 10 floors.

To get to Jewel Changi, the shopping and lifestyle mall is connected to the Arrival Hall of Terminal 1, and linked to Terminals 2 and 3 via link bridges.

For travellers catching a flight, there are early check-in counters and kiosks provided, as well as a baggage storage service to free your hands for more shopping!

At the heart of the mall is the Rain Vortex, the world’s tallest indoor waterfall at 40 metres high. Stay around in the evening to enjoy the special light-and-sound show running from 8.30pm to 12.30am daily at hourly intervals.

The highly-anticipated Pokémon Center is the first merchandise store outside of Japan, with thousands of merchandise to choose from.

Your movie-going experience just got better with Shaw Theatre’s 1st IMAX with Laser cinema hall, along with 10 other halls including 2 premium halls, a family-friendly Dreamers screen, and seven regular screens.

The family-friendly cinema hall, Dreamers, will provide a more conducive movie-going environment for children with reduced brightness and volume, soft lighting inside the halls, and all patrons are primed to expect babies and running toddlers.

Other attractions opening later this year include a walking and bouncing net, a mirror maze, discovery slides and a Topiary Walk among others.
