Get ready to say “bello” (hello in Minion language) to the Minions from the “Despicable Me” movies in Singapore. From 23 November to 31 January 2018, the first Minions Cafe outside of Japan will open on the third floor of Orchard Central.

Earlier this year, the pop-upMinions Cafe opened at five locations in Japan – Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Sapporo and Fukuoka – to celebrate the premiere of the “Despicable Me 3” movie. Minion mascots will be making an appearance at the grand opening of the cafe in Singapore.

As with all themed character cafes, all 14 items on the menu are inspired by the iconic movie characters. There will also be exclusive original goods that can be purchased alongside other official “Despicable Me 3” merchandise.

The pop-up Minions Cafe in Singapore and Japan is developed and operated by Japanese cafe, THE GUEST café&diner, which collaborates with a different popular character every two to three months.

The “Despicable Me 3” movie was released in Singapore earlier in June.
