FKA Twigs Brings Over-the-Knee Boots to Rick Owens Spring 2025 Show in London

FKA Twigs was spotted at Rick Owens’ spring 2025 collection launch at Dover Street Market in London on July 2, wearing a pair of over-the-knee boots with a minidress and fur layer.
FKA Twigs was dressed in a unique ensemble as she posed alongside French fashion designer Michèle Lamy, who is married to and collaborates with Rick Owens; Lamy is co-founder of the brand Owenscorp. Lamy has also worked with Twigs in the past, having starred in the singer’s audiovisual project “M3LL155X,” which was released in 2015.
At Dover Street Market yesterday, the British musician wore an off-white fitted minidress that came down to her thighs; the dress featured ruched fabric that gathered along the sides. On top of this neutral-colored base, the singer-songwriter wore a fur layer that seemed like a cross between a scarf and a vest. The beige garment was draped around her neck and partially covered the front of her dress, adding a substantial layer of texture to the outfit.
She also carried a strappy woven bag that was designed with a certain sci-fi edge. Lastly, FKA Twigs’ head was shaved while she wore a long ponytail extension in the back.
For her footwear, FKA Twigs matched the earth tones of her outfit with a complementary pair of gray over-the-knee boots. They were made of a matte fabric that folded and creased, adding more dimension to the ensemble. They blended particularly well with her bag, which was also a muted hue between green and gray.
Meanwhile, Lamy wore an avant-garde outfit featuring oversized fabric that folded and puffed; her apparel was paired with red leather platform boots.
FKA Twigs has a singular sense of style that she’s cultivated over the years. She enjoys an opportunity to go avant-garde, having worn tall white platforms with an unusual layer comprised of looped fabric to the 2024 Met Gala in May. She stood even taller at the after party that night held at the The Standard High Line, wearing Marc Jacobs Kiki platforms, which boast a 6.3 inch heel and a number of straps. A fan of extra height, she slipped into a pair of glossy platform mules in March 2023 to attend Chanel’s fall 2023 show.
In addition to releasing her single “Talk to Me” in March, FKA Twigs stars in the upcoming remake of “The Crow” alongside Bill Skarsgård; the film is set to be released on Aug. 23.
