Sulli's death: Former f(x) member Amber Liu and more celebs halt all promotional activities

Amber Liu, a former member of South Korean girl group f(x), has halted all promotional activities following the death of her friend and fellow band mate Sulli. ‘Due to recent events, I’ll be putting on hold my upcoming activities. Sorry everyone,” Amber posted on her Twitter and Instagram accounts on Monday.

Sulli, 25, was found dead in her home in Seoul on Monday (14 October). The police said that Sulli was grappling with severe depression, without elaborating.

The announcement by Amber came a month after she revealed that her contract with SM Entertainment, the company which formed f(x), had ended.

South Korean boy band Super Junior has cancelled the live broadcast of Time Slip today, the band’s ninth studio album amid the news of Sulli’s death.

Live streaming platform V Live announced the news via their official homepage: "Super Junior Comeback Live - The SUPER Clap has been cancelled."

Taeyeon from Girls’ Generation has also postponed the release of her solo album teaser, Trust. She’s taking this time to come to terms with the loss of her friend.

Goo Hara, another friend of Sulli’s has posted a tribute caption on her Instagram: “In that world, I hope Jin-Ri [Sulli's real name] does what she wants to do.”

Other Korean celebrities have also shared their tributes to Sulli on social media. Actress Goo Hye Sun posted on her Instagram page, “Baby Sulli, goodnight, I love you.”
