Former Corrie star Katie McGlynn opens up over new romance
Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn has openly discussed her relationship with The Only Way is Essex's Ricky Rayment.
The couple went public with their romance around Valentine's Day this year after originally bumping into each other at work on a cruise liner.
Speaking to OK! about her new man, McGlynn (who played Weatherfield's Sinead Osbourne until her death in 2019) revealed how she appreciates Rayment's values, outlook on life and sense of humour.

"I've never thought about a proposal before; it's not something I've dreamed about like other girls. But we are very happy – the happiest – and Ricky is very romantic. I know that he would pull out all the stops," she shared.
Rayment also remained coy about potentially walking down the aisle together.
"It's only been six months as well, so we'll see, but it's looking positive," the reality TV personality said.
McGlynn, who competed on Strictly Come Dancing three years ago, went on to remark upon how she and her partner had spent "most of our adult lives being single".
"I think we preferred to be alone rather than with someone who wasn't right – but it's definitely been worth the wait!" she said. "It sounds cringey, but when we chatted on that cruise, I felt like I was at home. It was so comfortable. We couldn't stop laughing and we found we had a lot of shared interests and views; we understood each other."
According to the soap star, Rayment is good at cooking, keeping calm and always finding "solutions to a problem".
