France TV Distribution To Launch Newsroom Drama ‘Enjoy!’ At Series Mania

EXCLUSIVE: France TV Distribution will be at Series Mania next week with Enjoy!, a drama series based on Benoit Marchisio’s novel Tout Complices!.

The series was originally created for France Télévisions’ streamer France.tv Slash and is now headed for the international market via the sales arm of the public broadcast network.

It follows a delivery boy for fictional home-delivery app Enjoy!, Abel, who lands a dream internship, and Yass, a trainee at a 24-hour news channel with a reactionary editorial line. Their destinies soon collides with Igor, an ambitious young lawyer who dreams of defending great cases.

Written by Marchisio and Katell Guillou, the series stars Jean-Désiré Augnet, Camille Moutawakil, Baptiste Carrion-Weiss and Bruno Salomone. Lionel Méta is the director and Le Collectif 64 is the producer.

Marchisio is a France Télévisions international co-productions exec, meaning a trip to Series Mania to launch the series will be nothing out of the ordinary.

“We found the project Enjoy! a brilliant parable of modern society: the global insecurity of work relationships and careers even for the high educated, the upcoming right wing extremisms, the power of digital connectivity and the dreams of social revenge,” said Julia Schulte, SVP of International Sales at France TV Distribution. “Those topics collide when our three anti-heroes bump into each other and lead to an energetic, urban adventure.”

Series Mania’s industry track runs next week from March 19-21. The public facing screenings begin tomorrow.
