More than 25 years after Friends first came to London for a disastrous wedding, the hit show is back with a new immersive experience for fans.

Tickets are now on sale for The Friends Experience: The One in London, much to the delight of the American sitcom’s millions of fans.

Friends, which made stars of its cast including Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and the late Matthew Perry, ran from 1994 to 2004.

The cast reunited for a special in 2021, but the death of Perry aged 54 last year put paid to any plans for further reunions. Stacy Moscatelli, CEO of Original X Productions, said the experience launch in London was a “milestone” for the attraction.

Here’s all you need to know about The Friends Experience: The One in London.

What is The Friends Experience: The One in London?

The Friends Experience: The One in London is bringing full-scale re-created sets, backdrops, props and memorabilia to the capital for the first time.

Fans can lounge around the Central Perk coffee shop where so much of the show was set. They can also sit back and relax in the recliners from Chandler and Joey’s apartment.

Also on show in its new purpose-built home at the ExCeL London are Instagrammable props. These include the orange sofa from the opening credits and at Central Perk and the purple door to Monica and Rachel’s apartment. There will also be insights from the show’s creators and costume designer.

The exhibition is also inspired by the 1998 episode The One with Ross’s Wedding when the show came to London for a two-part special. David Schwimmer’s character Ross Geller prepared to tie the knot with Helen Baxendale’s Emily, with extras such as Richard Branson and Sarah Ferguson appearing.

Visitors will be able to step inside a recreation of the wedding scene at the semi-demolished church.
