Gaile Lok chooses comfort for California wedding
30 Jul - Model-actress Gaile Lok is counting the days until she is Mrs Ian Chu, especially since it will be her first proper wedding.
As reported on Mingpao, the model, who previously married ex-husband Leon Lai in Las Vegas in a hush-hush ceremony, revealed that everything is already prepared for her 27 August wedding.
"Everything is all white. I think the most important thing is comfort, since the weather would be very hot on the day of my wedding," said Gaile, who will be tying the knot in sunny California.
Gaile also shared that since they are getting married in an outdoor setting, she had to say no to a lot of beautiful gowns with volume.
As to whether it will be a sexy dress, Gaile said no, adding that she is not fond of wearing revealing clothes, even when attending shows, as it would make her feel very self-conscious and uncomfortable.
Gaile also revealed that she will be leaving to the United States much earlier to spend more time with her family before her wedding day.
