Gaile Lok launches jewellery collection
14 Mar – Hong Kong-based model Gaile Lok has recently launched her new jewellery collection.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the 33-year-old model recently teamed up with international designer Ozlem Esen to launch an exclusive jewellery series, and has even selected Eurasian model Mia as its spokesperson.
When asked why she decided to use someone else instead of modelling the jewellery herself, Gaile replied, "This time, I am the designer. I don't want people to get confused."
When asked if there were challenges in designing and producing the collection, Gaile said that it was difficult for her at first since it was her first time.
"At first, I decided to outsource the production to a factory. But I didn't like the result and had to redo it again. I have gained a lot of experience from it," said the model.
When asked what was the amount of her investment in her new business, Gaile replied, "It's just a small business, so there is only a little money involved."
Gaile also said that she will be launching her online shopping website soon, while her second series of jewellery designs will be released in September.
