Game of Thrones actor James Cosmo has landed his next movie role.
Cosmo, who played the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch in GoT, is heading up the cast of Parallel.
Variety reports that the film is a British multiverse horror-thriller which also stars The Raid 2's Arifin Putra, Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning, Part One's Philip Hulford, Quarantine Leap's Shivani Cassidy, stage actor Iskandar Eaton, and Indonesian actress and activist Hannah Al Rashid.
Director Matthew Tibbenham, who previously worked on the game Peaky Blinders: King's Ransom, said: "This is not your typical horror movie. It's a heartfelt story about a father's grief and a gripping journey through thrilling chambers of horror."
Production is currently underway, and the film is expected to release at some point in 2024, although a distributor or outlet is not publicly known at this time.
As well as GoT, Cosmo also starred in Highlander, the first Chronicles of Narnia, and Trainspotting, and Celebrity Big Brother's chaotic winter 2017 series,
Last month, fellow GoT actor Conleth Hill hit out at the show's divisive final season, stating: "I felt that last series was a bit rushed. I was inconsolable, but now I'm fine about it. I thought I'd done something wrong. Right up until the last two seasons, I had no complaints at all.
"I just felt frustrated with the last couple of series because Varys wasn't the all-knowing character he had been. I think the writers wanted to do one thing to end it and the studio HBO wanted to do another."
