Gayle King is sharing a very special family occasion!

The CBS Mornings co-anchor, 69, announced on the show's June 4 broadcast that her son, William "Will" Bumpus Jr., has tied the knot with Elise Smith.

"My favorite son Will and my new favorite daughter-in-law Elise Smith tied the knot on Sunday, [June 2]," she said, as photos from the intimate wedding flashed onscreen. She then revealed the unique location of the wedding — longtime family friend Oprah Winfrey's house.

"Oprah of course was there 'cause it was at Oprah's house," King continued, eliciting laughs from her colleagues. "It's always nice when she lets us use her house."

Among the other details King shared, the bride wore a strapless Amsale gown and the newlyweds walked down the aisle to fireworks. As she reflected on the day, King also shared that her "favorite part" of the wedding was the exchange of vows. "They both wrote their own vows and at one point, Will said, 'I know the man I am, but with you, I know the man I want to be.' "

She said her 37-year-old son's words "gave me goosebumps — I went, 'Where did that line come from?' "

King added of the newlyweds, "I have never seen a love like the two of them have. You go to weddings and everybody is in love, but there was something about these two that I thought was very epic, it was next level."

She also explained that Sunday's nuptials were "strictly for family," and that Will and Smith plan to have "a big dance party for their friends later on."

Will — whom King shares with ex-husband William Bumpus, along with daughter Kirby Bumpus, 38 — and Smith announced their engagement in February. At the time, King posted video clips on Instagram of herself and Winfrey, 70, helping to orchestrate the big moment.

“Behind the scenes of the proposal,” King said in the clip showing her and Winfrey scouting a perfect spot for the engagement photographer to hide and capture the proposal.

The camera then panned to reveal that Kirby and her toddler son, Luca, were on hand to witness the special moment. A second video showed Will getting down on one knee in front of Smith and asking her to marry him.

Another clip in the carousel captured the newly engaged couple arriving at a post-engagement celebration, as their loved ones clapped and cheered. King and Winfrey also took a moment to admire Smith's sparkly ring.

“It has happened! Favorite son @willgb3 has found his person and I now have a favorite daughter-in-law to be: The lovely @elisemariesmith!” King wrote in the post's caption, jokingly adding that there "were a lot of cooks in the kitchen" and "a lot of planning" that went into the surprise proposal.

"Now just waiting for the date of the wedding! 👰🏽‍♀️🤵🏽‍♂️," the TV personality concluded the post, which also featured photos of the couple celebrating together and with family and friends.

Ahead of Will and Smith's nuptials, King and Winfrey shared a video on Instagram, in which the mother of the groom and the couple were sitting together at a table by the ocean.

King explained, "We're here with the happy couple, clock is ticking, we're down to the nitty and the gritty, the preparations. We're here doing the walkthrough for the welcome dinner."

She then switched into journalism mode, interviewing Will and Smith about their impending wedding. "So I wonder how you're feeling?" she asked. "Because next time we see you, you'll be husband and wife. What does this mean to both of you?"

Will laughed and replied, "That has a nice ring to it," prompting Smith to chime in, "I like how that sounds!"
