Gemma Collins reveals "shocking" fake tan blunder
Gemma Collins has shared her “shocking” blunder with fake tan, saying it was “typical” of her.
The former The Only Way Is Essex and Celebrity Big Brother star took to Instagram on Monday to reveal a gaffe, with the celebrity uploading a video to her Story as she detailed the crucial mistake she made that morning.

“Don’t even look at my face right now, I don’t know what I’ve done,” she began (via Metro). “I think I went to put face serum on last night, and I’ve put a tan drop serum on. Terrible, terrible, terrible. It could only happen to me, hands are pure white.
“Any solutions on how… look how bad that is. Is that not bad?” she continued as she highlighted some of the disparity in her tan shades.. “Shocking. Typical me, always in a rush, not looking properly – but dinner was delicious.”
Collins, who left TOWIE in 2021, ruled out a return to the reality show last year as she branded the recent series as “terrible”, explaining: “I watched it the other night, and I’ll never get those minutes of my life back.
“What’s happened? There were about two scenes in it. Chloe Brockett was good, and the new girl Elma [Pazar], but the rest of them were terrible. There’s no stars there, darling – we were stars. Being in those toxic arguing environments... It's a load of crap.”

The star, who has also appeared in Diva and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, revealed earlier this year that her mother was on the mend following a period in intensive care, sharing: “My mum's really ill at the minute. She's in intensive care. It's been a hell of a time… she is on the mend, thank God.
“SO last week I had the shock of my life when my mum stopped breathing. I called an ambulance and was told to prepare for the worst and would I like to resuscitate her. It's been extremely tough but she is stable now and hopefully she will be much better soon. No day is promised so make everyday count.”
