Genshin Impact global concert tour coming to Singapore, Malaysia this October

The tour will feature live performances of Genshin Impact’s original soundtrack composed by HoYo-MiX and performed by invited orchestras and conductors.

Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse announced on Wednesday (23 August) that the game will be hosting a global concert tour, the 'Genshin Concert: Melodies of an Endless Journey', in eight countries from this October to January next year.

The Genshin Concert tour will feature live performances of Genshin Impact’s original soundtrack composed by HoYo-MiX and performed by invited orchestras and conductors for each stop.

In Southeast Asia, the Genshin Concert’s stops include Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Singapore concert will be held from 2 to 3 October at the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, with the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra and conductor Thanapol Setabrahm also being invited.

Meanwhile, the Malaysian leg of the concert tour will be held on 7 October in the Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS. The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Naohisa Furuwasa were also invited.

Aside from Singapore and Malaysia, other stops in the Genshin Concert tour include Mexico, the United States, Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and Germany.

The Mexico stop will be held on 13 October in Guadalajara, the tour will then make its first stop in the United States in Boston on 28 October before moving to its first stop in Japan at Osaka on 4 November.

The tour will move to Seoul, South Korea from 11 to 12 November, move back to the United States for its Los Angeles stop on 19 November, then return to Japan for its Yokohama stop on 25 November.

The Genshin Concert tour will then continue in 2024, starting with its third stop in the United States in Chicago on 7 January. The tour will then move to the United Kingdom for its London stop on 11 January before returning to the United States for its fourth and final stop there in New York on 13 January.

Finally, the Genshin Concert tour will close in Düsseldorf, Germany on 20 January.

Tickets for the Genshin Concert tour will go on sale on specific dates for each stop. Here are the dates when tickets will be available for purchase (all times are local):

  • 24 August - Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Guadalajara, New York

  • 25 August - Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles

  • 29 August - Seoul

  • 30 August - Düsseldorf, London

  • 6 September - Osaka, Yokohama

Each purchase of a ticket for the Genshin Concert tour will also come with a complimentary physical commemorative concert ticket.

Genshin Impact is currently in version 4.0, which released on 16 August and introduced the new region of Fontaine. The update also features the 5-star Lyney as well as 4-stars Lynette and Freminet as the first set of playable characters from the new region.

Aside from a new region and new characters, version 4.0 also brings with it a new underwater diving mechanic, a revamped party setup menu, multi-layered map, and more!
