Gersh Hires Doug Fronk as SVP and TV Literary Agent

Doug Fronk has joined the television literary department at Gersh as an agent and senior vice president.

Fronk spent the last three years at A3 Artists Agency as a partner and head of television literary. Before that, he spent 19 years at Paradigm, where he worked his way up to become co-head of the television literary department.

Over the course of his career, Fronk has packaged numerous shows, including last year’s “The Company You Keep.” He continues to represent many of the industry’s top executive producers, including Scott Prendergast (“So Help Me Todd”), Julia Cohen (“The Company You Keep”), Jennifer Corbett (“Star Wars: The Bad Batch”), Dan O’Keefe (“Silicon Valley,” “Veep”), Kim Rome (“The Equalizer”), Jerome Schwartz (“La Brea”) and Andi Buschell (“The Lincoln Lawyer”), among others. Fronk’s clients will now join Gersh’s roster of TV literary clients.

The hire comes as Gersh continues to expand, following an equity investment by Crestview Partners in 2023. Gersh has added 31 new agents since the start of the year, and last month welcomed April Perroni as head of business affairs and Matt Andrée Wiltens as head of global corporate communications.

In January, Gersh acquired A3’s digital and alternative departments. As part of the deal, 25 agents and 45 additional staffers moved to Gersh under a new standalone digital business.

Fronk will be in good company with many former A3 agents recently making the move to Gersh, including Jade Sherman, Alec Shankman, Keith Bielory, Mark Turner, Melissa DeMarco, Sam Schmidt, Marienor Madrilejo, Jared Thompson, Matt Sorger and more.

Deadline was first to report the news.
