Glee star Darren Criss shares unique name for child after birth
Glee star Darren Criss has shared his unique name for his second child, with the actor announcing the news via social media.
The star, who played Blaine Anderson on the musical show, has been in a relationship with Mia Swier since 2010, with the pair announcing their engagement in January 2018 before tying the knot just over a year later.
The couple welcomed their first child, Bluesy, in April 2022, and she now has a little Brother – literally – after Criss took to Instagram to reveal that Mia had safely given birth to a baby boy.

“M & D just delivered their follow-up single. Brother László Criss,” wrote the actor in the caption, accompanying a photo of Brother smiling as Bluesy held some sunglasses over his face. “6/3/24 🎶 Out now. 🎶… and yes his first name is Brother."
The comment section was filled with messages of congratulations, with one follower writing: “Congrats to you, Mia and baby Bluesy! What a very sweet name and a very sweet bub!”
“What a precious little guy! (and the Star Wars blanket is kinda everything),” added another follower, whilst one user wrote: “Yes it’s an unusual name…but that little smile is all anyone needs to think about Congratulations.”

Criss, who has also appeared in The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, recently retraced his roots on Glee by reuniting with co-star Mike O’Malley, who played Blaine’s father-in-law in the show.
“Heckuva son-in-law,” wrote O’Malley in the post, which included a photo of the pair as they grinned whilst embracing each other. Fans of the show were warmed by the reunion and even sent some questions, with one asking: “Has enough time passed for a Glee reunion special?”
