Gogglebox star Pete Sandiford's wife has hilariously shared a picture of his rather worn underwear on Instagram.

Pete, who regularly appears on the Channel 4 show with his sister Sophie, was mocked by his wife Paige over his pants, as she posted a snap of him wearing the hole-filled blue underwear online.

"More holes than a sieve," she joked (via OK!), as Pete reposted the story and quipped: "Get another couple of years out of them!".

Pete and Paige have been married since 2021, and have two children together – a son named Jimmy, and a daughter called Eva. He recently introduced baby Eva to Gogglebox viewers during the show's series finale.

While holding the newborn, Pete said to his sister: "Hey, Sophie, have I told you her name? We think we're going to call her Eva Sylvie Sandiford.”

In other Gogglebox star news, fellow sofa-watcher Jenny Newby recently welcomed her third great-grandchild. The news was shared on her and fellow Goggleboxer Lee's Instagram page.

"Congratulations Jenny on your new great granddaughter Olive-Mae more babysitting duties I think," the caption accompanying a photo of Jenny and the newborn read.

Meanwhile, former show star Joe Baggs has revealed why he and his family quit the series, telling The Useless Hotline podcast: "We decided that there were things we wanted to do that we couldn't do while we were on the show.

"There is a reason why there's not many young people on there. It's because we're in this new age of social media that me and George love so much," he added.

Gogglebox airs and streams on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4.
