Good Morning Britain host addresses on-air sound issue
Good Morning Britain's Charlotte Hawkins confronted a live sound issue during today's (February 2) programme.
Hawkins and co-presenter Rob Rinder were discussing the latest headlines with broadcaster Iain Dale and former MP Jacqui Smith when the audio suddenly malfunctioned.
"We may have had a bit of a sound issue there. I can say you weren't censored midway through, we're just working out what happened!" Hawkins told viewers. "It wasn't anything to do with that, don't worry! But we're pressing some technical buttons. Hopefully it's all sorted!"

A few weeks ago, GMB regular Ben Shephard left Hawkins red-faced by sharing an embarrassing story involving her underwear.
The duo were talking about items that people accidentally leave in hotel rooms, with Hawkins noting: "I have this fear of leaving something behind and it's gone forever."
Shephard continued: "But you have left stuff in the past, haven't you? Embarrassing things you left once, so that would be the fear."
He told viewers: "Charlotte once got changed behind a curtain and left all of her gear, including all of her underwear, and someone had to go and get it and send it back to her. So once you've done that, you have to sort of panic."

Taken aback, Hawkins replied: "I'm regretting telling you that story earlier this morning, which I wasn't necessarily going to share with people! If I had, I might've toned it down a bit!
"I was so mortified. They had folded it in a little neat pile for me, including my pants, right at the top, which was so embarrassing!"
