Gracie Abrams Sets Fall Headlining Tour, Ahead of Opening Final Eras Tour Dates

Singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams has announced a headlining tour in support of her upcoming “The Secret of Us” album, with shows in prominent theaters or amphitheaters in 18 cities. The trek precedes the climactic dates Abrams will be doing on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in North America at the end of the year.

Abrams’ just-over-month-long outing, dubbed “The Secret of Us Tour,” begins and ends in Portland — Oregon and Maine, that is, respectively. It begins Sept. 5 at Alaska Airlines’ Theater of the Clouds in Portland, Oregon, and wraps up October 10 at the State Theater in Portland, Maine.

Between those two dates, it hits such venues as L.A.’s Greek Theater on Sept. 11, Austin’s Moody Amphitheatre on Sept. 22, Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium Sept. 29, New York’s Radio City Music Hall Oct. 4 and the Met in Philadelphia on Oct. 8. (Scroll down for a complete list of dates.)

Role Model opens all the shows except for the very last date. The artist is a labelmate of Abrams’ on Interscope and has his own sophomore album, “Kansas Anymore,” coming out July 19.

A presale for the Live Nation-produced tour begins Tuesday, followed by a general onsale Friday. Fans can access a Seated registration presale beginning at 10 a.m. local time Tuesday.

The tour will wrap just eight days before Abrams is due to make her long-scheduled gigs opening for the Eras Tour as it comes to a close with a series shows in the U.S. and Canads, after Swift will have spent most of 2024 overseas. Abrams will be opening for Swift on nine occasions in the States beginning Oct. 18 in Miami and concluding Nov. 3 in Indianapolis. Following that, Swift and Abrams share nine final dates in Canada, from Nov. 14 through Dec. 8. Abrams previously opened more than 30 shows for Swift on the Eras Tour in 2023.

The recently announced track list for “The Secret of Us” revealed that Swift will be making a rare outside featured appearance on one of the tracks, “I Love You, I’m Sorry.”

Abrams’ “The Secret of Us” album comes out June 21. Like her preceding album, “Good Riddance,” which earned her a Grammy nomination for best new artist, the new effort is produced by Aaron Dessner of the National.

The singer shared her enthusiasm on Instagram, writing, “I wish I could properly express how excited I am for these shows. The whole time we were writing the album, all I could think about was being in the same room as you — playing these songs, collectively screaming and dancing and also maybe crying for fun. I’ve missed it all beyond words and I’ve missed your faces like crazy and every day I don’t spend with the band and the crew feels like being far away from home, so THANK YOU for being the reason I get to reunite with them. Truly, thank you. And then the luckiest of all is that @rolemodel will be on the road with us. We’re playing venues I’ve only ever dreamed of playing and it’s entirely because of you. I love you and I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to tour this album.”
