There are perfectly good celebrity style moments, and then there are the looks that really stick with you, the ones you try desperately to recreate at home. In 'Great Outfits in Fashion History,' Fashionista editors are revisiting their all-time favorite lewks.

Though she's now known for her electro club anthems and hyperpop production, there was once a time when Charli XCX was synonymous with rebellious yet radio-friendly pop songs. ("Break The Rules," anyone?) Long before the concept of a "Brat" summer existed, Charli was thriving in the punk-inspired era of her 2014 sophomore album "Sucker," an aesthetic she perhaps best exemplified at the opening of Vivienne Westwood's Paris boutique in 2016.

To celebrate the then-new store, Charli wore a striped ensemble by the late designer. The asymmetrical sleeves on the star's black-and-white blouse created a slightly off-the-shoulder shape that descended into a sharp, triangular hem. A mini skirt of the same pattern featuring orange splotches added vibrant contrast to the look.

The "Boom Clap" songwriter accessorized with a black, belt-like choker, knee-high fishnet stockings, platform ankle boots and a Bordeaux-red leather tote. Bringing even more intentional incongruity to the look, Charli wore an oversized gold hoop on her right ear and a classic "Orb" drop style on her left.

To complete the edgy outfit, the then-24-year-old took a page out of Westwood's glam book, donning a messy beehive-like updo and a bright red lip alongside her bold brows and a glossy bronze eyeshadow.

Despite the full look being tied to Charli's "Sucker" era in particular, the pieces themselves are timeless. Keep scrolling to see our favorite stripe-y shopping picks to get the look now.
