A year before she made cinematic fashion history in "13 Going on 30," Jennifer Garner commemorated a major personal milestone: The then-30-year-old actor made her Oscars red carpet debut in 2003, only a year before she'd don the color-blocked cut-out mini that would become one of the most iconic rom-com looks of all time. That dress, of course, was by Versace — as was the gown she wore to her first Academy Awards.
She arrived at the biggest night in Hollywood in an icy blue gown by the Italian fashion house featuring a bodice embellished with crystalline beads and lace floral-like patterns. With a veil of sheer, textured fabric, the floor-length skirt flowed when she walked, creating Garner's very own Cinderella moment. There are no glass slippers here, though: She accessorized with golden strappy heels, sparkling hoop earrings, a single bangle bracelet and a metallic clutch.
As for her award-worthy beauty look, her caramel-colored shoulder-length hair was pinned back for a minimalist 'do highlighting her hoops, while her diffused smokey eye and peachy lipstick added an extra boost of elegance to the ensemble.
