We're in for a gloomy Christmas week with mild temperatures and a long streak of cloudy skies, according to the Environment Canada forecast.

The seven-day forecast shows no sunny days, with highs ranging from 2 C to 11 C. Rain showers are a possibility for Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

And any hopes of dashing through the snow on Christmas Day have already been dashed.

That high of 11 C is the forecast for Dec. 25.

"I think it's a done deal. It's not going to be (a white Christmas)," Environment Canada senior climatologist Dave Phillips said earlier this week.

There is, however, a chance of flurries on Dec 28.
