Jessica Capshaw and Camilla Luddington aren’t holding back when it comes to dishing out advice on their new podcast.

The Grey's Anatomy costars — and real-life best friends — exclusively tell PEOPLE that won’t be “sugarcoating” their advice on iHeartPodcast’s Call It What It Is, which debuts on June 3.

“First off, I'm a Sagittarius, I talk about this on the pod, and we are naturally blunt,” Luddington, 40, shares. “But, Jessica and I have talked about how we really do it with love. We're going to tell you what we really think and what our opinions are and what advice we want to give, but we're not going to beat around the bush on it.”

The actresses agree their new podcast is aptly named. “We're going to call it what it is,” Luddington says as Capshaw, 47, adds, “I definitely don't think that we sugarcoat it. But also I think it's probably just who I am.”

Luddington notes that her pal “naturally” doesn’t hold back the truth, telling Capshaw, “I know you're not going to give me a sugarcoat version.”

Capshaw — who reprised her role as Arizona Robbins for one episode on season 20 of Grey’s Anatomy — shares that she is excited to interact with listeners, who are invited to reach out via Instagram DM, email or voicemail for advice.

“I think so often when people have problems, they feel alone, and this might just be an antidote to that loneliness,” she explains. “I'm not grandiose here, it's not the biggest thing, but obviously people do struggle with it so much at every age range. You've got the surgeon general talking about it and you've got your friends and neighbors talking about it and expressing it.”

“Hopefully in this, it is virtual, but it doesn't feel like it,” she continues. “We just took some callers and it feels very much like you're with someone and you're being seen and you're being heard and you're being considered. So hopefully that's what we have to offer as we talk to each of the callers.”

“I think we're on your team,” adds Luddington, who plays Jo Wilson on Grey’s Anatomy. “That's all we want to feel like, we're on your team. Let us know because Jessica and I, there's truly nothing that I could call her about that I would feel judged about. I think that's so powerful in a friendship. So we want to extend that out to the people listening to us.”

In addition to dishing out advice, fans can “100%” expect the co-hosts to welcome their Grey’s Anatomy castmates, according to Luddington.

She adds, “They're family so they're going to be on here and they're going to be great. I'm so excited for them to come.”

As for their other dream guests, Luddington would like to see Jennifer Coolidge stop by, sharing, “She would be so much fun. Also, I'm just such a fan.”

Capshaw is inviting Taylor Swift and her mother Andrea, explaining, “I want the mother/daughter. Yeah, because I do think that obviously her mother's been clearly a big influence on her life, and so I would actually love to hear them talk about that.”
