Guy Fieri’s son Hunter engaged to pickleball pro Tara Bernstein

Guy Fieri is cooking up some delicious news in announcing the engagement of his elder son on Thanksgiving.

The “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” host took to Instagram during the holiday weekend to alert his 2 million followers to the engagement of Hunter Fieri and professional pickleball player Tara Bernstein.

“Congrats to @hunterfieri and @taralynn.nyc,” wrote the Food Network star. “You two are made for each other. Welcome to the family, Tara.”

The younger Fieri, 27, and Bernstein also shared the news in a joint post, featuring a carousel of engagement photos, including the moment Fieri popped the question.

“Coming soon…Mr. & Mrs. Fieri,” the couple, whose relationship started in February of this year, captioned the sweet photos.

Among those snaps was a family pic featuring the Mayor of Flavortown himself, wife Lori, and son Ryder, 17.

Back in July, Bernstein referred to her soon-to-be-fiancé as “my partner, my better half” in a reel of their love story thus far.

“I’m so blessed to have someone as amazing and loving as you in my life,” she said at the time. “Your energy, drive and positive light is contagious — you light up my world. I love you.”

The month prior, Guy Fieri sprinkled more than a dash of praise on “pickleball machine” Bernstein when referring to the young couple.

“(She has) good values and is just a really great person so I couldn’t be happier for Hunter,” Fieri told People in June, when father and son were participating in a cooking demo at the annual Food & Wine Classic.
