Harley Quinn season 4 unveils new look for Kaley Cuoco's hero
Harley Quinn season 4 is less than one week away, and it looks like everyone's favourite maniac is taking costume tips from Batman.
A trailer, which includes cameos from seemingly the entire rogues gallery of DC villains, not only catches us up on Harley and Poison Ivy's "so damn cute" romance, but also teases the former's new job as a Caped Crusader.
"It's a bird, it's a plane, it's motherf**king Harley Quinn!" she announces to her unimpressed crimefighting colleagues. "Jeez... sorry for trying to get a vibe going!"

Commenting during the Max Original Animation panel at San Diego Comic-Con International this month, the show's supervising producer Ian Hamilton said (via Entertainment Weekly): "Harley Quinn is Harley Quinn. She can put on a different costume.
"She can hang out with a different crew. But she's going to smash things with her bat."
Voiced by The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco once again, a black-caped Harley is seen crashing her green-skinned girlfriend's battle with Wonder Woman and Superman.
As Hamilton alluded to, despite the updated look, she's still got that kickass firecracker edge.

Meanwhile, as the CEO of the Legion of Doom, Poison Ivy must contend with a mob of sexist supervillains, including the cocaine-addled Snowflame.
"Snowflame is canon! Google it!" Hamilton pointed out.
"I guess they wanted a cocaine-powered supervillain in the '80s, and our wonderful EPs discovered this and said, 'You know who would be great to have as the worst person to deal with as the leader of the Legion of Doom? A guy who has to always be on cocaine'."
Harley Quinn season 4 premieres July 27 on Max in the US.
