Hartamas Celebrates Milestone Achievements and Expansion at the Annual Awards for Excellence 2024
Petaling Jaya – Hartamas, a leading name in the real estate sector since its inception in 1996, proudly celebrated its annual Awards for Excellence last weekend. The prestigious event, held annually, highlights the company’s progress and recognizes the dedication and achievements of its staff and agents.
Having evolved from a small team focused on the sub-sale market to a robust multi-disciplinary entity, Hartamas now offers a full range of real estate services, including property management, valuation, academy services, workspace interior design, and architecture. This year’s ceremony was especially significant as it marked the recognition of team members who have been with the company for 10, 15, and 25 years.
“Our growth from a modest team into a powerhouse in real estate services is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team,” said Eric Lim, co-founder and Group Managing Director of Hartamas. “Tonight, we celebrate not just the achievements of our long-standing team members but also the strategic expansion that has propelled us forward.”
Besides real estate agency services, Hartamas’s Property Management division has grown into a formidable unit with over 100 staff members, now handling high-profile projects such as the TRX Residences. Meanwhile, Hartamas’s Valuation division has also expanded its operations to Johor, with plans to extend further into other major cities.
Concurrently, Hartamas has also ventured into other related services including architecture and workspace interior design, an added service to our existing clientele. Our recent projects by our interior design arm include significant contributions to China Communication Construction Company (CCCC), a Fortune 500 company.
In 2023, the Agency Division of Hartamas reported a commendable performance compared to the same period last year. “Our ability to adapt and innovate keeps us ahead in a competitive market,” Eric added. “Our comprehensive services set us apart from less equipped firms, ensuring sustainability and high-quality service delivery.”
The company also emphasized the importance of collaboration and cross-marketing opportunities, encouraging staff to leverage their contacts to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction. This strategy not only broadens Hartamas’s outreach but also enriches the client’s experience through comprehensive service offerings.
One of the notable introductions this year was the Objective & Key Result (OKR) initiative, aimed at enhancing work efficiency and effectiveness across all departments. “It’s crucial that we not only aim for high activity levels but also focus on achieving tangible results and meeting our strategic goals,” Eric remarked.
The evening concluded with the awards ceremony, where 49 deserving team members were honored for their exceptional performance, marking a 20% increase in recipients compared to the previous year. “Each recipient has shown remarkable dedication and excellence, contributing significantly to our collective success,” Eric Lim concluded.
As Hartamas looks to the future, the company is set on maintaining its trajectory of growth and excellence, continually seeking innovative ways to meet market demands and exceed client expectations.
