Head of Iran's Guards: will increase capabilities after 'laughable' U.S. move - state TV

LONDON (Reuters) - The head of Iran's Revolutionary Guards dismissed Washington's designation of the elite force as a terrorist organisation and said on Tuesday the Guards would increase their military capabilities.

"This U.S. move was quite laughable since the Revolutionary Guards are in people's hearts ... The Revolutionary Guards will increase its defensive and offensive capabilities in coming year," commander Mohammad Ali Jafari was quoted as saying by the state broadcaster.
