Heidi Klum on Puppy-Proofing Her Closet After Getting 2 New Dogs: ‘They Pooped All Over the House’
The model, 50, bought her husband two German shorthaired pointer puppies named Uschi and Jäger
Heidi Klum is trying to potty train two new members of her family!
On Thursday's episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show the supermodel, 50, explained to host Jennifer Hudson what she's doing to try to housebreak the two new German shorthaired pointer puppies, named Uschi and Jäger, that she bought for her and her husband Tom Kaulitz in September after their previous dog died.
"It's hard," the overwhelmed new puppy mom admitted. "They're now seven months, they pooped all over the house, peed all over the house."

She confessed she's having to go to extreme measures to protect carpeted areas of her home from their accidents, especially her closet.
"I got the gates back up. You know, the kids are now old, but when they were young I remember we had gates everywhere so that they couldn't go up the stairs, down the stairs." Klum said she put those baby-proofing gates "everywhere" in her home to set boundaries for her puppies.
"So that the dogs can, if they poo in the house, only poo in a certain part of the house and not everywhere," she laughed.
She then described a scene that's probably relatable to many puppy parents.

"I mean it would be, like, in my closet ... I would be in my closet. I'm like, 'It's smelling bad in here," Klum said, insinuating she'd then find "a dump in the closet" on the carpeted floor.

While they might not fix her puppy poo problem, Klum said the gates at least contain it.
As for why she surprised Kaulitz, 34 with two puppies instead of one she said: "I just thought it would be nice for them that sometimes, you know, when we have to go to work, they have each other and they can play with each other."
