Hilary Duff Breastfeeds Baby Townes While Attending Her Kids' Graduations: 'Nursing Station Is Your Car'

Hilary Duff is finding some creative spaces to breastfeed.

The actress, 36, shared a photo on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, June 5, of herself in a car as she breastfed her newborn daughter Townes. Wearing a striped shirt and a gold chain, Duff's daughter's leg and hand could be seen while her head was out of frame.

"When you have two kids graduating your nursing station is your car," Duff wrote over the photo of herself.

The Lizzie McGuire alum shares daughters Townes, Mae James, 3, and Banks Violet, 5, with her husband Matthew Koma. She is also mom to son Luca Cruz, 12, whom she shares with ex-husband Mike Comrie.

In May, Duff announced on Instagram that she had welcomed her fourth baby. Sharing photos from Little Plum Photography of her home water birth, the actress took a moment to honor her newborn daughter in her caption.

"Townes Meadow Bair 🧸 , now we know why she made us wait so long…She was perfecting those Cheeks!" Duff wrote. "I Have been dreaming of holding you in my arms for months and the past 5 days of getting to know you, stare at you and smell you has been pure moments of magic."

"We all love you like you’ve been here all along beauty. 5/3/24," the newly minted mom of four wrote in her caption.

Duff announced on Instagram that she was expecting her third child with Koma in December 2023 in her family's Christmas card, which featured a photo of her cradling her stomach.

"So much for silent nights. Love, the Duff-Bair-Comrie Crew," the front of the card read, while the back confirmed the news: "Buckle up Buttercups, we're adding one more to this crazy bunch!"
