This Morning's Holly Willoughby was forced to apologise twice yesterday (September 13) after Miriam Margoyles swore twice on live TV.

The Harry Potter actress was asked to be an agony aunt on yesterday's instalment of the ITV chat show, with her hilariously frank answers sending the show into chaos.

When one caller asked what to do when her boyfriend is always watching videos on his phone instead of paying her attention, Miriam replied: "What you could do is one day, when he comes home, you could be completely naked, and display yourself. Push up your breasts and show him what you've got and say: 'Look at me and not that f***ing screen'."

After Holly mouthed 'sorry' to the camera, Miriam clarified: "I didn't say it, I mouthed it."

Miriam did, however, let another expletive slip whilst answering a question about nightmare neighbours.

"I think you need to go to them and say you really need to talk to them because [your] health is becoming affected and [you're] not happy, and that's not fair is it," she said, adding: "And then if they are still like that, throw the s*** over the wall."

As Holly mouthed another apology to viewers at home, Miriam realised her blunder and said: "I'm so sorry, I apologise."

Meanwhile, last week This Morning lost out on a National Television Award, with the BBC's The Repair Shop taking the gong.

Holly addressed the loss by congratulating Jay Blades and his team, whilst also thanking fans for their support over what has been a challenging year for the show: "A massive thank you as well just for voting for us and getting us through to the shortlist. Just to make it to there was just so wonderful. So, thank you always for your love and support."

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV1.
