Hollyoaks will air a dramatic shooting later this week, with Warren Fox once more at the centre of the action.

The village bad boy has been in a spot of bother lately after supplying a batch of dodgy narcotics, which resulted in the deaths of both Lizzie Chen-Williams and Hunter McQueen.

He has attempted to cover his tracks since then, but has found himself in a pickle as Mercedes teamed up with Freddie and Grace in order to avenge Hunter’s death.

Dave has also been grieving his daughter Lizzie, and recently overheard a conversation which outlined Warren’s involvement in her tragic death.

He confronted Warren but ended up with a bloodied nose after being punched, with Warren being arrested following his actions.

After being released, Friday’s (June 28) first-look scenes will see Warren gunned down by a masked motorcyclist, with Mercedes arriving on the scene to call for help.

Meanwhile, Freddie asks Darren and Nancy if he can stay with them after his boat is flooded, though Darren is harbouring thoughts that Frankie could be involved in the shooting of Warren.

The storyline comes as Jamie Lomas prepares to leave the soap for a fourth time overall, with the actor having debuted as Warren in 2006.

After leaving in 2009, Lomas returned a year later before once again departing in 2011. This was followed by a return in 2016, before his latest stint began in 2020.

Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.

Selected omnibus episodes are available via Prime Video.
