Hollyoaks airs exit for Zain Rizwaan in emotional scenes
Hollyoaks spoilers follow from Tuesday's episode on Channel 4 streaming, which doesn't air on E4 until Wednesday.
Hollyoaks has aired emotional exit scenes for Zain Rizwaan. The soap previously confirmed that cast member Jonas Khan would be leaving the streaming-first soap after two years playing Misbah Maalik's boyfriend-turned-husband.
Zain was recently offered a job in Scotland, and while he asked Misbah to come with him, she has felt torn because of her growing feelings for Donny Clark.
In Tuesday's (July 2) streaming episode, it was time for Misbah to make her decision so she consulted Dillon Ray for a pep talk.
When Zain gave Misbah an ultimatum that their marriage depended on her coming to Scotland, she realised she wasn't ready to uproot her life in Chester.

In a scene scored by Nik Kershaw's classic hit 'I Won't Let the Sun Go Down on Me', Zain was preparing to leave the village when Misbah turned up to say she couldn't move away with him.
"I couldn't let you leave without a proper goodbye. You mean too much to me," Misbah explained. "It's time, we both admitted it. Our marriage, it's over."
The pair had a frank discussion about their relationship, where Misbah confessed she was no longer in love with Zain. The two parted on good terms but their marriage was officially over.
Later, Donny tried to cheer Misbah up following her split from Zain, but his nice gesture backfired when she rejected him outright.
"Get out of my house," she demanded while throwing his "bag of goodies" across the room.

Last week, Harvey Virdi addressed co-star Jonas Khan's exit from Hollyoaks by saying she's "excited" to see what's next for Misbah.
"I’ve enjoyed the little love triangle with Zain and Donny. It was such fun being stuck in the middle of those two," she said. "Zain was simmering with rage whilst Donny was being cheeky, and I'm trying not to smile! It shows no matter your age, if you fancy someone, you end up behaving like a teenager again!"
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
