Hollyoaks' Brent Taylor hears incriminating Romeo and Peri secret in streaming episode

Hollyoaks spoilers follow from Tuesday's episode on Channel 4 streaming, which doesn't air on E4 until Wednesday.

Hollyoaks' Brent Taylor overheard an incriminating conversation between Romeo and Peri in tonight's streaming episode, which included a post-credits clue to the mystery behind Rayne Royce's death.

It was Rayne's memorial and the group of young friends were shocked when Rayne's mum turned up at the house ahead of the event.

After becoming concerned that the memorial was being held for the wrong reasons, Rayne's mum gave Romeo a chance to prove how much he loved her daughter.

When a technical glitch happened during his emotional speech, an angry Romeo lashed out at Peri and the whole thing was caught on the live stream.

Following the outburst, Peri run after Romeo and tried to comfort him. In a conversation with Romeo, which Brent was secretly listening to, Peri referenced the night Rayne died, saying to Romeo: "That night, your halo wasn't clean either."

"We said we'd bury it," Romeo replied.

After jumping to the wrong conclusion, things became heated between Brent and Romeo and the pair got into a physical fight. "What did you and Peri do to Rayne?" Brent screamed at Romeo.

At the end of the memorial, Peri encouraged everyone to write a message to Rayne on a paper boat to float down the river. Then, in the post-credits scene, one message on a boat, perhaps written by the killer, read: "Good Riddance!"
