Theresa and Cleo feud over Abe. Cleo tells Abe she wants nothing to do with him.
Later, Cleo receives an alarming call.
Meanwhile, Rose finds an ID in Kitty's bag with an unfamiliar name on it. Dee Dee confronts Kitty, but Rose tells her that it's normal for people who are transitioning to experiment with names.
Rose quizzes Kitty on her transitioning story. Kitty explains that her father walked out on her when she was 14 because of it. Sensing the youngster is holding something back, Kitty tries to get Rose to open up, but Diane interrupts.
Kitty and Beau laugh about the love notes they received and agree on a drink together when they have time. In heartfelt scenes, Rose tells Kitty they are questioning their gender identity.
Elsewhere, Misbah has to decide who to take to the ball – Zain or Sharon. Misbah chooses Zain but tells Sharon she wishes it was her she was going with.
Also today, Frankie and Lucas bunk off a lesson. Frankie tries to talk Lucas round to ditching his session with Carter to spend time with her instead. However, when they bump into Carter in the school corridor, Lucas agrees to meet him later, telling Frankie he needs the sessions.
