Hollyoaks has confirmed clifftop drama for Warren and Felix in the show's much-anticipated stunt week.

A brand new trailer has been released today (September 18) previewing some unmissable scenes airing later this month.

We've already confirmed how Jemma Donovan's final scenes as Rayne Royce will air as part of the big event in an hour-long special, with the character being killed off as part of a huge new whodunit storyline.

However, Felix's ongoing story will also reach a climax during the big week as well, as he edges closer to the truth of Mercedes and Warren's big betrayal.

Oblivious about what Mercedes is keeping from him, Felix decides to get down on one knee and propose, but is left devastated by her reaction.

Mercedes later gets steamy with Warren in the garage, unaware that someone could be watching.

Feeling like he’s lost his loved ones, Felix’s mental health starts to deteriorate, which drives him to the edge of a quarry he used to visit as a child.

Warren knows the destination and is quick to find his friend, but ends up getting himself in a perilous situation while trying to save Felix.

A shocking clip in the trailer shows Warren dangling over the edge, while Felix remains in a confused state. Will they both make it home alive?

Discussing the big scenes, Richard Blackwood, who plays Felix Westwood, said: "Filming at the quarry was absolutely amazing and hardcore at the same time.

It’s going to be danger on screen, not knowing what’s going to happen. Will Warren and Felix both make it to the end of the episode…?"

Jennifer Metcalfe, who plays Mercedes McQueen, added: "It was inevitable that Mercedes was going to cheat on Felix with somebody, and I’ve worked with Jamie [Lomas] so much. The characters are great together.

"If it was going to be anyone, then Warren’s a good person for her to choose. The dynamic between the three of us is just brilliant."

Hollyoaks' big week will kick of a new era, as the show continues its digital-first strategy.
