Hollyoaks confirms surprise new passion for Yazz Cunningham

Hollyoaks has confirmed new passion for Yazz Cunningham – but not with husband Tom.
Yazz has been struggling with intimacy in her marriage following a difficult year where she suffered an ectopic pregnancy in June and was subsequently diagnosed with early menopause.
Next week's episodes will explore some difficult moments for Yazz and Tom after they decide it's best to separate for the time being.
Yazz will temporarily move in with the Lomaxes, where Leela invites her out to a Christmas party and reminds her no-one should tell her how to feel.
Tom happens to bump into Yazz on her way to the party and is devastated that his estranged wife is heading out for a fun night while he remains devastated about their split.
Darren Osborne tries to cheer Tom up by offering to take him out, given he's also been through a rough time recently. Meanwhile, Yazz ends up at The Loft where she shares a dance with Ethan Williams.
The pair end up sharing a kiss on the dance floor, without realising Tom had walked in at that very moment. Tom tries to pretend he's not hurt and throws himself into planning a festive event.
Jack and Darren come to check on Tom at the cafe later, as they're not entirely convinced he's being honest with himself about seeing Yazz kiss someone else.
As the festive event gets underway, Tom gets choked up and Yazz jumps in to help him get through his speech. Later, Yazz finds her estranged husband overcome with emotion and tries to comfort him.
Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
