This episode explores solidarity and the LGBTQ+ community. The storyline surrounding the issue of 'conversion therapy' reaches a culminating point when John Paul realises Carter's true intentions have been to practise conversion therapy on him.

Horror-struck, John Paul confronts Carter. Stunned and hurt that homosexuality could be seen as a sin, John Paul voices how someone's sexuality isn't a choice.

Meanwhile, Nadira confides in Peri about the pain Juliet caused her when she outed her to her family.

Elsewhere, Ste fights to make his marriage work and for his husband to accept his children.

Also today, in a powerful scene, Sally shares the history behind the solidarity flag and what it means not just to her as a trans woman but also to the LGBTQ+ community.

The episode finishes on a high as those within it unite in the village.
