Hollyoaks' Juliet Nightingale to be arrested in cancer story

Hollyoaks spoilers follow.

Hollyoaks is set to air heartbreaking scenes next week for Juliet Nightingale as she struggles with her cancer diagnosis and ends up in trouble with the police in a dramatic continuation of her cancer storyline.

Previously, Juliet was diagnosed with cancer after getting her test results back following a biopsy. Juliet has struggled with the diagnosis ever since and things will come to a head in new scenes set to air next week.

Juliet will be intent on having fun but her girlfriend Peri will be concerned she isn't looking after herself. Peri will try to surprise Juliet with a mini-festival but James, Juliet's brother, won't think it's a good idea.

Indeed, the idea will not go to plan and Juliet won't react well. Later on, Juliet opens up to Peri about her frustrations with people fussing over her. It reminds her how little time she actually has left.

Seeking to vent her frustrations, Juliet will head out with Brooke and wind up partying with Rayne and Lacey at The Loft. Peri will try to quell things but Juliet, increasingly agitated at what she feels is stifling treatment, will be intent on keeping the party going.

However, the party vibe will halt when a chunk of Juliet's hair falls out, leading Rayne to comfort her. Meanwhile, Peri will enlist Zoe to help control Juliet but this makes things even worse.

A melee will break out and Juliet accidentally hits Zoe — and this will result in Juliet's arrest for being drunk and disorderly. At the police station, Zoe rants at Juliet and tries to knock some sense into her while James will try to support her too.

Meanwhile, Donna-Marie will advise Peri to stop nursing Juliet but Peri ultimately ignores this advice.

In truly heart-breaking scenes, Juliet and Peri will wind up in a horrible, heated argument as Peri tells her girlfriend how scared of the future she truly is and Juliet will, tragically, begin cutting her own hair off.

Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
